Bunch of extraordinarily expensive dried food without the salt. Hills is
made by Palmolive/Colgate and completely UNREGULATED/UNLICENCED, by the US
govt, who don’t give a flying fck what YOU eat, let alone your pets. GO
    USA! No. Really.

This pet food is garbage. Cats are obligate carnivores & cannot survive on
low protein diets. They need high quality protein & need to be fed a raw
meat diet if at all possible as well as lots of moisture. Hills Science
Diet is expensive crap & the company has brainwashed the veterinary
profession. Their foods are full of low quality grains & by-products. One
of the biggest culprits in kidney disease is phosphorus. This can be
greatly reduced by omitting the use of bones & bonemeal in the diet.

Translation~ Feed your Pets this Crap, and Kill your Pets faster.

my cat is only 5 years old and is having problems with one of her kidneys.
I had heard that if your cat has acute kidney disease early you could cure
    it?

  5. ACCCGStThomas says:

There are things to make your cat feel better, but no cure. Start out with
non-commercial site by Dr. Pierson - catinfo (dot) org . See other
non-commercial sites like FelineCRF (dot) org. Avoid feeding any dry food
as it dehydrates cats. More educated vets agree that for optimal cat
    health, avoid all kibble.

  6. ACCCGStThomas says:

Totally agree. Dry food, even “prescription” food leads to diseases like
diabetes. The cat we rescues was made sick and diabetic eating Rx food sold
by a vet. This video is a commercial designed to make profits for the
company at the expense of your pets’ health. Research feline and canine
nutrition from non-commercial sources, like Catinfo (dot) org

I use the recipe on Catinfo(dot) org for my healthy cats & a raw food
supplement/recipe from “Feline Instincts” for my CRF kitty. He also gets 1
Renafood tablet per day and his numbers have dropped to just above the
normal range. He has a healthy appetite & has gained back a few lbs. My vet
is surprised by his results but doesn’t understand raw feeding. I refuse to
feed any type of Rx diet to my pets. They’re absolute rubbish.

There is a website called “Feline Instincts(dot) com”. They sell powdered
supplements for both healthy & CRF animals. They also provide recipes when
using their products. My soon to be 15 year old Siamese is thriving on
their Kidney Support diet. I also give him 1 “Renafood” tablet per day.
It’s a supplement made by “Standard Process”.

Dr. Karen Becker is the answer if you pet has kidney disease. She is a
holistic vet. Check out her website. Also, I hear that “Wellness Kidney
    Support Gold” works well.
